“Sometimes I wonder where he gets his energy from. He is in London today and the following morning in Enugu. I’m wondering how he does it. Exhaustion comes in; he is a human being,” he said.

Speaking further, Omale dismissed suggestions that Obi was dealing with an underlying health problem. He insisted that his condition was simply the result of physical fatigue and inadequate rest.
“He is in perfect health. There’s nothing wrong with him. It’s just exhaustion, and we are trying to calm him down to take a sleep. He is fine,” he stated.

The spokesperson also revealed that members of Obi’s team have been encouraging him to slow down. They want him to get sufficient sleep and create time for recovery rather than maintaining his demanding schedule.
He maintained that the situation would not affect the party’s political preparations. He stressed that Obi remained committed to the NDC’s activities ahead of the 2027 general election.
