Elombah.com has yesterday reported that Olabode George has also announced his withdrawal from the race.

Announcing his withdrawal from race, Bode George said he did not withdraw for any candidate.

Rather, he said he was withdrawing from the race on a matter of principle.

He said it was wrong for the party not to have micro-zone the office of the national chairman.

Commenting about the withdrawal, Chief Dokpesi was quoted as saying:

“As usual, they have cornered all the delegates, so why did PDP allow us to do the campaign rounds the States.”

Commenting further, he reportedly said:

“This convention is already in the pocket of some few governors, PDP is not ready for 2019, Buhari has no contender.”

Also re said: “PDP soul has been purchased by moneybags.”

Reacting to reports of Dokpesi’s withdrawal, however, his Campaign Director-General insisted that the communication guru is still in race.

He said that he will not step down from the race for any reason.

Jimi Agbaje is yet to provide full reasons for his withdrawal as at press time.
