African Democratic Congress (ADC) has inaugurated the party’s constitution review committee.
The inauguration was done by the national chairman of the party, Senator David A. B. Mark.
According to a statement issued by the opposition party, the inauguration reinforces it’s commitment to internal democracy, inclusiveness, transparency, and strong institutional governance, in line with global best practices.
Meanwhile, the 22-member committee includes senior legal practitioners, former governors, senators, and party leaders.
The statement reads: “Today, January 8, 2026, the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Sen. David A. B. Mark, GCON, inaugurated the Party’s Constitution Review Committee.
“The exercise reinforces ADC’s commitment to internal democracy inclusiveness, transparency, and strong institutional governance, in line with global best practices.
“The Committee is tasked with reviewing the party constitution, strengthening party structures, enhancing dispute resolution, and ensuring compliance with Nigeria’s electoral laws.”
The 22-member committee includes senior legal practitioners, former governors, senators, and party leaders.
Meanwhile, Barrister Etigwe Uwa, SAN will serve as Chairman of the Constitution Review Committee.
