Ex-Police AIG Joins ADC in Zamfara, Boosts Party Ahead Elections

A retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Musa Garba, has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Zamfara State.

The defection ceremony took place on Monday, January 12, 2026, in Gusau, the state capital, drawing party leaders, stakeholders, and political observers.

Garba, who served in various capacities across the Nigerian Police Force, cited his desire to contribute to positive political change and improved governance as the driving factor behind his decision.
