Singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, aka Portable, has threatened that Nigerians should vote for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election or risk perishing in war.
In a viral video on Sunday, the musician threatened that Nigeria would be plunged into civil war should they oppose Mr Tinubu’s re-election.
He further claimed that he was contacted by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to campaign for Tinubu, adding that thunder and Ogun will strike any Yoruba person who doesn’t cast a vote for the president.
“We need peace, we want peace. If you don’t want war in Nigeria, you better vote for Tinubu.
“Thunder and Ogun will strike any Yoruba man who doesn’t. I have been signed, given APC clothes — don’t worry, I wll soon start sharing rice and vegetable oil,” Portable said.
