NOUN Announces Ongoing Admission, Registration Deadlines, Exam Preparations For Students

(DDM) – The National Open University of Nigeria has released fresh updates outlining key academic activities, deadlines, and student support initiatives for the ongoing semester.

The institution confirmed that admission into various programmes remains fully open, encouraging prospective students to take advantage of the opportunity to apply.

Interested applicants were advised to explore available courses and complete their admission process without delay.

The university also disclosed that Tutor-Marked Assignments (TMA) 1, 2, and 3 are currently active across courses.

However, it clarified that not all courses have TMA 3 available yet, as the assignments are being released in phases.

Students requiring assistance or guidance on TMAs were encouraged to seek support through designated communication channels.

In addition, the university announced that semester registration for students in the 300 to 800 levels remains temporarily open.

No official deadline has been fixed for this category, but affected students were urged to complete their registration as soon as possible.

For students in the 100 and 200 levels, the institution set April 5, 2026, as the deadline for semester registration.

The university stressed that the deadline is fast approaching and advised students yet to register to do so promptly.

On examinations, the institution revealed that students in the 300 to 800 levels have approximately 21 days remaining before their exams commence.

Students were encouraged to begin early preparation and avoid last-minute study habits.

To support academic readiness, the university highlighted the availability of study resources, including course summaries and past examination questions.

Similarly, 100 and 200 level students were informed that their e-examinations will begin in about 49 days.

The institution emphasised that early preparation would provide a significant advantage for candidates.

It reiterated that students at all levels should make effective use of available academic materials to enhance their performance.

The university also confirmed that examination clearance is currently ongoing for all students.

Those who have not been cleared online were advised to visit their respective study centres for physical clearance.

The directive, according to the institution, is necessary to avoid complications on examination days.

In terms of graduation processes, the university disclosed that graduation clearance has commenced.

It added that additional graduation lists are expected to be released in due course.

Students were directed to check the combined Batch 1 to Batch 3 graduation list through the official link provided by the institution.

Furthermore, students offering GST302, also known as Business Plan, were informed that a detailed guide is available to assist them.

The guide is expected to help students better understand course requirements and improve their performance.

The institution urged students to remain proactive in handling their academic responsibilities.

It stressed the importance of timely completion of registration, clearance, and examination preparations.
