Police Recover AK-47 Linked to Abducted Rivers Vigilante Leader

(DDM) — Operatives of the Nigeria Police have recovered an AK-47 rifle and other weapons during a coordinated raid on criminal hideouts in Rivers State, in connection with the abduction of a local vigilante leader.

The operation was carried out in the communities of Ipo and Igwuruta-Ali, where security forces targeted suspected criminal camps believed to be linked to the kidnapping incident.

According to police authorities, one suspect was arrested during the raid, while others reportedly fled the scene as operatives advanced on the locations.
