ENUGU, ENUGU STATE – Maduegbunam Nelson Chinedu has emerged as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) House of Representatives candidate for Igbo-Etiti/Uzo-Uwani Federal Constituency in Enugu State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

His emergence followed a party selection process in which he was affirmed as the ADC flagbearer for the constituency after internal consultations and political alignment within the party structure.

The decision has been described by party stakeholders as a strategic step aimed at strengthening the ADC’s grassroots presence in Enugu State and improving its competitiveness in the federal legislative elections.

In a separate development, former Aviation Minister Stella Oduah has secured the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) senatorial ticket for Anambra North Senatorial District after defeating Primus Odili in the party’s primary election.
