Human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu has called on security agencies and the Ministry of Women Affairs and Child Development to urgently intervene in a disturbing case reported in Delta State.
According to the report, a 60-year-old man allegedly defiled two young sisters, aged 11 and 10, sparki
ng outrage and concern over the safety of minors in the community.
Gwamnishu urged the relevant authorities to thoroughly investigate the allegations and ensure that justice is served. He emphasized the need for swift action, noting that cases involving children require urgent attention and a firm legal response to deter future occurrences.
The activist also stressed the importance of protecting victims and providing them with the necessary support, including medical care and psychological assistance, as the case continues to draw public attention.
