LAGOS, NIGERIA — Sultan Hanafi Royal Schools has charged its Class of 2026 graduates to embrace the mantle of problem-solvers, urging them to uphold integrity and contribute meaningfully to society as they embark on the next phase of their lives.
The charge was delivered during the school’s graduation ceremony, where management, staff, and parents gathered to celebrate the achievements of the outgoing students. In his address, the school’s founder, Sheik Hanafi, emphasised the importance of character and service, reminding the graduates that their education extended beyond academic success. “You are not just leaving with certificates; you are leaving with a responsibility,” he said. “The world does not need people who simply follow instructions. The world needs people who see problems and create solutions. That is what we have trained you to be.”
The ceremony also featured addresses from distinguished guests, including Alhaja Serifat Anifowoshe, who spoke passionately about the transformative power of youth. Citing her own journey as a young entrepreneur who rose from humble beginnings, she encouraged the graduates to dream boldly and remain resilient in the face of challenges.
“Every great achievement begins with a decision to try,” Anifowoshe told the gathering. “Do not let fear of failure stop you from pursuing your dreams. Your education has equipped you with the tools; now go out there and build.”
