OSUN, NIGERIA — The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the Osun State governorship election, Bola Oyebamiji, has cast his ballot in the ongoing OsunDecides 2026 election, expressing confidence in the electoral process and saying the situation across the state remains under control.
Oyebamiji arrived at his polling unit to exercise his civic responsibility as voters across Osun State turned out to participate in the election, which is expected to determine the next governor of the state.
Speaking after casting his vote, the APC candidate expressed optimism about his chances of emerging victorious, while commending voters and election officials for what he described as a peaceful process.
Oyebamiji said there was no cause for alarm, assuring residents that the election was progressing peacefully in different parts of the state.
“Everything is under control,” Oyebamiji said, according to remarks made after he cast his ballot.
