Sharon Ademefun, the sister of Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that she holds regular financial meetings with the singer to monitor his spending and occasionally discourage him from making more luxury purchases.
Sharon, who serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), shared the details while appearing on The Morayo Show, where she discussed her relationship with her famous brother and her role in managing his finances.
According to her, she and Davido would sit down every week to review how his money was being spent and discuss his financial decisions.
“Me and Davido would sit and have a finance meeting every week because I think it is important for him to know how his money is being spent. I will now say, ‘David, please, no more cars,’” she said.
Sharon explained that her close relationship with Davido allows her to give him honest advice, including telling him when she believes he should stop spending money on certain luxury items.
She noted that because she is his sister, she can have conversations with him that some other people around him might be reluctant to have.
Davido is known for his collection of luxury cars, jewellery and other high-value items, and his lavish lifestyle has frequently attracted attention from fans and the media.

She revealed that she was open with him about her attitude towards household cooking before they got married, explaining that although she knows how to cook, it is not something she particularly enjoys doing.
