The Anambra State Government has urged supporters of the All Progressives Grand Alliance to reject Peter Obi and the Nigeria Democratic Congress in the 2027 general election.
The state government made the call on Monday through its official X account, managed by the New Media office of Governor Charles Soludo.

The government accused Obi, a former Anambra governor, of working against APGA since leaving office, while claiming that President Bola Tinubu had supported the party.
In a post targeting Obi, the state government described him as a “betrayal” to APGA and urged party supporters to defend the party ahead of the 2027 election.
“Since 2014, Obi has had one mission: to destroy the party that made him,” the government said.
It also accused Obi of backing the opposition in 2015 and urged APGA supporters not to support the NDC.
“Do not be deceived by a man who abandoned his own house. Anambra is APGA. Ndi APGA, defend your home, resist the NDC,” the government said.
Obi governed Anambra State from 2006 to 2013 and is seeking the presidency on the NDC platform in 2027.
