The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 30 year old man, Peter Sinamai, over the alleged murder of his biological father in Sangere, Gombi Local Government Area of the state.
The arrest followed a report received by the Command, prompting detectives to launch an immediate investigation into the disturbing incident. According to the police, preliminary findings indicate that the suspect allegedly killed his father before disposing of the body in a well within their community in an apparent attempt to conceal the crime.
Police authorities confirmed that the victim’s body has since been recovered from the well and deposited at a mortuary, where an autopsy will be conducted as part of ongoing investigations to determine the exact cause of death and gather forensic evidence.
