Nigerian music stars Adekunle Gold (real name Adekunle Kosoko) and his wife, Simi, have announced the birth of twin babies.
The couple shared the joyful news on Wednesday via Adekunle Gold’s Snapchat story, describing the arrival as a “double blessing.”
“Asked God for another child, and he blessed me double,” Adekunle Gold wrote. The couple has not revealed the gender of the twins.
This joyful news follows hints shared by Simi in December 2025, when she posted a video on Instagram showing her baby bump, captioned: “From my baby, for my babies,” signaling the upcoming addition to their family.
The twins’ arrival comes shortly after Simi appeared in a teaser for Adekunle Gold’s recent music video, My Love Is the Same, in which she is visibly pregnant.
The video also features their first child, Adejare Kosoko, popularly known as Deja, singing alongside his mother.
Adekunle Gold and Simi, one of Nigeria’s most prominent celebrity couples, married in 2019 after years of friendship and musical collaboration. Both artists started their careers with X3M Music and have continued to enjoy immense success individually and as a family.
The couple’s first child, Deja, was born in May 2020 and inspired Simi’s hit song “Duduke,” which became an anthem for expectant mothers across Nigeria.
The arrival of the twins marks a new chapter for the family as they continue to delight fans with both their music and personal milestones.
