ORLANDO, USA — Aimbridge Hospitality has been appointed to manage the 718-key Delta Marriott Orlando Celebration resort in Kissimmee, Florida, US.
The Accesso-owned property has recently undergone a $35 million renovation. The refurbishments included a redesigned lobby with open-plan seating, updated restaurant and bar areas, and improvements to the resort’s guest facilities.
Property Features
The resort now includes more than 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space. It also features two outdoor swimming pools and a complimentary shuttle service to nearby theme parks.
The hotel’s dining venues include Waves Bar & Grill, The Pointe, and the Rum Shack Pool Bar.
The property operates under a Delta Hotels by Marriott franchise agreement running through 2042. The arrangement also provides access to Marriott Bonvoy’s distribution platform.
Aimbridge’s Appointment
Aimbridge Hospitality full-service division president Chris Tatum expressed confidence in the new role. He said the resort is a compelling addition to their portfolio.
“The resort is well positioned in a market that continues to benefit from strong leisure, group and business demand, and Aimbridge brings the operating focus needed to help the property build on that foundation,” Tatum said.
“Our priority is to deliver a guest experience that supports long-term performance and helps ownership realise the property’s full potential.”
Plans for Expansion
Accesso now plans to expand the convention facility at the property by approximately 10,000 square feet. It will also renovate the lobby to add further meeting rooms.
Accesso development managing partner Alan Garzon commented on the partnership. He said the resort is one of the best located in the country.
“Aimbridge possesses the full-service expertise and platform needed to ensure our guests always receive the highest-quality experience, and we believe they will unlock the true value potential of this flagship asset,” Garzon said.
What This Means
The appointment of Aimbridge is a significant development for the resort. It brings new management expertise and a platform for growth.
The planned expansion will further enhance the property’s appeal to group and business travellers.
What Happens Next
Aimbridge will take over management of the resort immediately. The expansion plans will proceed in the coming months.
For now, the focus is on delivering a high-quality guest experience. The coming years will reveal whether the new management can unlock the property’s full potential.
