AKISAN Dynasty embarks on Statewide humanitarian tour across Akwa Ibom

The reigning Mr. and Miss AKISAN USA 2024/2025, Mr. Aniekan Udofia and Miss Jessica Eden, are set to embark on a 10-day humanitarian tour across the 31 local government areas of Akwa Ibom State.
The tour, themed “Igniting the Spark in Every Child,” aims to distribute palliatives to support families amid prevailing economic challenges.
In a press release, the tour is described as part of AKISAN’s homecoming initiative and pet project, designed to uplift children across the state and promote moral and social support to help them compete favorably with peers worldwide.
The highpoint of the visit will be a special event and press conference scheduled to hold on Monday, June 30, 2025, at CEEDAPEG Hotel, Uyo, which also serves as the base for the media launch of the ATARAH Horizon of Hope Foundation.
Below is the itinerary of the AKISAN Dynasty 2025 visit:
*Sunday, June 22: Arrival in Lagos and reception by PANAFOR Lagos Crew.
*Monday, June 23: Arrival in Akwa Ibom; grand reception by the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism; press briefing at CEEDAPEG Hotel.
*Tuesday, June 24: Courtesy call on His Eminence, Oku Ibom Ibibio; visits to Cottage Hospital, Ikot Ekpene Udo; Family Hospital Orphanage; General Hospital; homage to the Paramount Ruler of Ibesikpo Asutan.
*Wednesday, June 25: Visits to the Ministries of Information, Health, Education, Women Affairs & Social Welfare, and Trade & Investment; stop at Nedeke Children’s Hospital, Uyo.
*Thursday, June 26: Courtesy visit to Ibesikpo Asutan LGA Chairman; tour of Primary Health Centre, Nung Udoe.
*Friday, June 27: Outreach to General Hospital, Oruko in Urue Offong/Oruko LGA; sightseeing at selected tourist locations.
*Saturday, June 28: Solemn assembly at Lutheran Primary School, Ide Akpakpan, Ibesikpo Asutan.
*Sunday, June 29: Thanksgiving Service at Lutheran Church of Nigeria, Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo; visit to Motherless Babies Home, IBB Avenue.
*Monday, June 30: Health outreach at Ikot Ebo Ikono and Ikot Ofon Ikono Primary Health Centres; unveiling of official logo and dinner night.
*Tuesday, July 1: Farewell reception and departure.
The AKISAN tour is expected to touch the lives of hundreds across the state, reinforcing the association’s commitment to giving back to the homeland and inspiring a new generation of Akwa Ibom children.
