APC Chieftain Defends Gombe Central Senatorial Primary Outcome

GOMBE, NIGERIA – A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has defended the emergence of Mohammed Ahmed as the party’s senatorial candidate for Gombe Central ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The party leader insisted that the primary election that produced Ahmed was conducted in line with internal democratic guidelines and reflected the true choice of delegates in the district.

The All Progressives Congress, All Progressives Congress, recently concluded its internal selection process for senatorial candidates across various constituencies as part of preparations for the next election cycle.
