The incident, which occurred around 11:30pm on Tuesday, was confirmed by the Bauchi State Police Command.

According to the Command’s spokesman, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, the armed bandits gained access to the village through the Yankari Game Reserve.

They looted five shops and abducted four residents: Tasiu Malam Yahaya, 32; Hakilu Ubayo, 15; Abdul Aziz Suleiman, 28; and Rabiu Ganjua, 16.
