Nollywood actress Blessing Obasi Nze has opened up about the significant role filmmaker Biodun Stephen has played in shaping her career, describing her as a life-changing blessing.
In an emotional reflection, the actress credited Biodun Stephen for giving her one of her earliest big breaks in the industry, including her first lead role in a film. According to her, the opportunity came at a time when she needed it the most and helped set the pace for her growth in Nollywood.
“She’s the biggest blessing of my career. She picked me up from the dust, gave me my first lead role in a film, and paid me what other lead actors get on TV shows,” she said.
Blessing also revealed that Biodun Stephen was responsible for her first major earnings as an actress, noting that she was paid ₦100,000 even before landing a lead role.
“She paid me my first 100k and it wasn’t even for a lead role. That woman is my God-given blessing,” she added.
