Nollywood actress and filmmaker Blessing Obasi Nze has shared refreshing insights into how she balances love and business while working with her husband, Stan Nze.
In a recent conversation, she revealed that professionalism remains a key part of their collaboration, even within marriage.
“Working with my husband feels good. When he acts in any of my films, I pay him his money and that’s my way of honoring his talent,” she said.
Blessing emphasized that both of them maintain strong individual identities despite being a couple, highlighting the importance of personal branding in the entertainment industry.
“We are brands. He is Stan Nze and I am Blessing Obasi Nze. I still put Obasi first before Nze because that name has done the work so much,” she explained.
She also disclosed that their partnership extends beyond acting into business. The couple owns a studio equipped for film production, and interestingly, they maintain clear financial boundaries even there.
“We have a studio that has equipment in it. So when he shoots films there, I charge him. Apart from acting together, we also have joint businesses,” she added.
