The governor of Ebonyi State, Mr. Francis Nwifuru, on Saturday, fired the Commissioner for Works, Mr Stanley Mbam, from office.
Nwifuru, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Dr Monday Uzor, directed Mbam to hand over all government property in his possession, including official vehicles, to the Secretary to the State Government.
“Mbam is directed to transfer responsibilities to the permanent secretary in the ministry,” he said.
The governor assured the people of the state of his administration’s focus on delivering effective governance and improving public infrastructure.
