BENIN CITY, EDO STATE — A special security squad in Edo State has demolished a suspected criminal hideout in Ubiaja and arrested nine individuals linked to kidnapping and drug-related activities.

Security authorities said the operation was carried out following credible intelligence on the activities of a criminal network operating in the area.

The raid targeted a building allegedly used as a base for coordinating kidnappings, drug distribution, and other illegal operations.

Officials confirmed that the structure was demolished immediately after the arrest of suspects to prevent continued use by criminal elements.
