Ex-minister Pauline Tallen loses only son

Pauline Tallen, a former Minister of Women Affairs under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, has lost his only son, Richard Tallen to the cold hand of death.

Richard’s death was confirmed in a statement by the family on Sunday.

According to the statement, Richard died at Cedar Crest Hospital, Abuja, where he had been receiving treatment.

He had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on Friday night and was placed on oxygen support before his sudden death.

Although, the exact cause of his death is still shrouded in secrecy.

Also, his former school, the Vom Old Boys’ Association (VOBA), confirmed the sad news, sharing a tribute on their official social media platform.

“On a very sad note, we regret to announce the sudden passing of our member, Mr. Richard Adamu Tallen. Eternal rest grant unto him, oh Lord, may perpetual light shine upon him.
May the soul of Richard and all departed VOBA members rest in peace. Amen,” the association wrote in a Facebook post on Sunday afternoon.

Richard, 42, held a degree in Computer Science from a university in the United States. He is survived by his wife and three children.
