According to a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the FCT Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, Mr. Parradang checked into Joy House Hotel at Area 3 Junction, Abuja, on March 3, 2025, at approximately 12:00 PM.
He arrived in a black Mercedes Benz and paid N22,000 for a one-night stay.
Upon arrival, he promptly requested a staff member escort a visiting female guest to his room.
Subsequently, the team discreetly facilitated her entry per his instruction.
The woman left the hotel premises around 4:00 PM the same day.
Hotel staff reported that Mr. Parradang did not leave his room after the guest’s departure. Concerned about his well-being, a friend of Mr. Parradang, who is a military officer, visited the hotel early the next morning at around 4:00 AM on March 4.
Upon reaching his room with assistance from the hotel receptionist, Mr. Parradang was found deceased, seated in a chair.
The incident was immediately reported to the Durumi Police Station. Officers arrived promptly to secure the scene, document evidence through photographs, and collect relevant materials to aid in their investigation. Currently, authorities moved the retired immigration chief’s body to the National Hospital for further examination. Meanwhile, police investigate and pursue the female guest who visited Mr. Parradang on March 3.Hotel staff are cooperating fully with law enforcement authorities as they work to uncover the exact circumstances leading to his death.
