Controversial Nigerian cleric Chukwuemeka Ohanemere, popularly known as Prophet Odumeje, has stirred reactions after declaring that he would disappear rather than die a conventional death.
The cleric made the statement while addressing his followers, insisting that he would vanish after completing his assignment on earth.
Odumeje also warned his followers against planning a burial for him, claiming that his body would not be available for a conventional funeral.
“You can never celebrate me when I am dead. Who would go and put their foot in my burial? Don’t come and plan a burial for me. I can never die. The only thing I will do when I’m done with my job, I will disappear,” he said.
The cleric further described himself as a lion and portrayed himself as someone destined for stardom.
His remarks have generated attention on social media, particularly his claim that he would disappear after completing his mission rather than undergo a conventional burial.
However, the statement reflects Odumeje’s personal declaration and does not establish that such an event will occur.
