The leadership of Igbodike Movement has urged the Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to give greater priority and attention to the South East.
The leadership stated that Igbodike Movement has already put in place strategic plans aimed at ensuring that the South East secures strong support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his second term.
The Igbo group in a statement issued by it’s national coordinator, Dr Peter Nwankwo said South East remains central to the success of the campaign, and that the region’s electoral commitment will be rewarded through sustained inclusion and practical representation in governance.
The movement noted that its deployment of strategic plans is designed to translate political support into meaningful benefits for the people of the South East.
Igbodike Movement also called on Ndigbo to broaden their political reasoning and “open their political eyes” by critically understanding the advantages of remaining engaged within the present administration.
The group emphasized that supporting the re-election of President Tinubu will strengthen the case for broader inclusion for Ndigbo in government and will also provide assurance of the Vice Presidential slot in 2031.
The leadership urged Ndigbo to remain focused, united, and strategic in their political decisions, assuring them that the promise of inclusiveness is not only achievable but actively being pursued through coordinated political efforts.
