A Federal High court sitting in Lagos has instructed the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to produce celebrity drug baron, Mr. Afolabi Kazeem Micheal, aka ‘KayCee Luxury’, in court over failure to officially file a charge and arraign him after 14 days in custody.
The order followed an ex parte application lodged by Afolabi through his legal representative, A. Labi-Lawal, SAN, under the Fundamental Rights (Enforcement Procedure) Rules 2009.
Diaspora Digital Media reported that Afolabi was arrested by the anti-narcotic agency on August 13 at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, while he was preparing to travel to Paris.
