Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested former Minister of Power, Saleh Mamman, in Kaduna State.
Mamman, who had reportedly remained out of public view after receiving a 75-year prison sentence, was apprehended in the Rigasa area of Kaduna.
Chairman of the EFCC, Ola Olukoyede, confirmed the arrest while addressing journalists during an ongoing briefing at the commission’s headquarters.
According to Olukoyede, the former minister was taken into custody around 3:30am.
