Salome was killed during a visit to Ajayi’s home in the Papalana area of New Karshi, located in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The police displayed Ajayi alongside the knife and machetes used in the crime, highlighting the severity of the situation.

Ajayi was apprehended on Sunday, January 12, 2025, while attempting to dispose of Salome’s head after dismembering her body.

He confessed during an exclusive interview that the act was unplanned, attributing it to their lack of time together.

When asked about the murder, he admitted, “I killed her because we don’t have each other all the time.”

He claimed that discovering her chats with other men triggered his violent reaction.

Furthermore, Timileyin Ajayi expressed no remorse for his actions, stating, “I don’t have any regrets because life is reciprocal.”

He emphasized the importance of understanding one another in relationships, which he believed justified his actions.
