JUST IN: Troops neutralize about 16 ISWAP terrorists in Borno, recover weapons

ISWAP terrorists abandoned this Armoured Personnel Carriers

Troops of the Nigerian Army have reportedly neutralized over sixteen Islamic State of West Africa Province [ISWAP] terrorists in a fierce battle in Rann, Borno State.

The troops also recovered weapons from the terrorists, says the report.

Also, according to the report, many of the neutralized insurgents were foreigners, probably mercenaries from other parts of Sahel region.
