A Nigerian woman has appealed for help after alleging that she and her husband paid ₦10.9 million to PWAN Real Estate for a piece of land but have yet to receive an allocation nearly two years later.
In an emotional video shared online, the woman appealed to Nigerians and specifically called on activist VeryDarkMan to intervene in the matter, saying the situation has caused significant distress for her family.
According to her account, the payment was made in September 2024 for land valued at ₦10.9 million. However, she alleged that despite the passage of time, the company had not allocated the property to them.
The woman claimed that efforts to resolve the dispute through different channels had not produced the outcome they expected. She said lawyers and the police had become involved in attempts to address the matter, while additional expenses had also reportedly been incurred along the way.
Her public appeal has since generated reactions on social media, with some users calling for the real estate company to respond to the allegation and clarify the status of the transaction.
The complaint has also drawn attention because it comes amid previous controversies and complaints surrounding PWAN Real Estate.
The company has faced criticism from some customers over alleged delays and disputes concerning property transactions, although PWAN has previously denied wrongdoing and maintained that it is working to address legitimate customer concerns.
