Nollywood actor Akin Olaiya has reportedly parted ways with his second wife, Nafisat, barely a year after their marriage.
According to the actor, the relationship took an unexpected turn just months after their wedding. He revealed that on one occasion, the couple had planned to attend an event together, but Nafisat informed him she would no longer be going.
However, before Olaiya returned home, he discovered that she had packed her belongings and left their matrimonial home without prior notice.
The actor further stated that he made several attempts to reconcile with his wife and persuade her to return, but all efforts proved unsuccessful. Nafisat reportedly remained firm in her decision not to come back.
Following the breakdown of the relationship and failed reconciliation attempts, Olaiya said he had no choice but to formally dissolve the marriage.
