Obiano Splashes Over N700m On Campaign Vehicles In One Week

Elombah.com has been informed that the Governor of Anambra State and the All Progressives Grand Alliance [APGA] candidate has splashed over N700 Million on campaign vehicles in just one week.

The breakdown of the Vehicles are as follows:

1. 326 Shuttle Buses for 326 Ward Chairmen by Unit Price of N700,000 = N228,200,000.00

2. 30 Toyota Sienna Cars for 30 State Executive Members of APGA by unit price of N1,500,000 = N45,000,000.

3. 21 Toyota Corrolla Cars for 21 Local Govt Party Chairmen by unit price of N2,800,000 =N58,800,000.

4. 21 Toyota Hiace Bus to 21 Former Local Govt Council Chairmen who are head of Gov Obiano campaign organisation at the Local Govt by unit Price of N5,000,000 = N105,000,000.

5. 9 Zonal Executives (Chairman, Youth Leader and women Leaders of APGA) at the 3 Senatorial Zones by unit Price of N1,500,000 = N13,500,000.

6. 3 Toyota Sienna for Asatu Leaders (Chairman, Woman and Youth Leaders) by unit price of N1,500,000 = N4,500,000.

7. 7 Toyota Sienna for 7 SUG Presidents of 7 Campuses in the state by unit price of N1,500,000 = N10,500,000.

8.25 Toyota Sienna for 25 Market Leaders in the state by unit price of N1,500,000 = N37,500,000.

9. 15 Toyota Jeeps for 15 CAN Members at Unit price of N9,500,000 N142,500,000.

Grand Total = N645,500,000.

Governor has been accused of profligate with state resources, especially on frivolities.

Recently he imported 10 containers of branded wines bearing his image and APGA logo estimated to worth several millions of state fund.

Meanwhile, he is yet to account for over 409 billion Naira in form of surplus from Peter Obi’s administration, federal allocations, internally generated revenues, and over 60 billion Naira in debts.
