Stefanie Kim Ladewig, the eight-month pregnant partner of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, has escaped injury after a three-vehicle crash in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The accident occurred at about 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, within Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district, according to reports by Türkiye Today and the Demirören News Agency.
Ladewig, a model, was reportedly driving an SUV when she approached a bend and collided with a light commercial vehicle driven by a person identified as Paris T.
The impact allegedly caused her vehicle to veer into another SUV travelling in the opposite direction, resulting in a collision involving three vehicles.
Although the vehicles sustained damage, no injuries were reported at the scene.
Ladewig was subsequently taken to a private hospital in Istanbul’s Maslak area for precautionary medical examinations because of her advanced stage of pregnancy.
She was discharged after undergoing the checks, with reports indicating that she was in good condition.
Born in Berlin, Germany, Ladewig is known for her modelling work and social media content.
Her partner, Osimhen, 27, is a Nigerian international footballer who plays for Turkish club Galatasaray.
He is also one of the Super Eagles’ key attacking players.
The reports did not indicate that Osimhen was in the vehicle or involved in the accident.
