IBADAN, OYO STATE, NIGERIA – The Oyo State Police Command has dismissed widespread rumours suggesting the imposition of a curfew and movement restrictions in Ibadan following recent security concerns linked to reported school attacks in parts of the state.

Police authorities clarified that no such directive has been issued by the state government or security agencies, urging residents to disregard misinformation circulating on social media platforms and messaging apps.

The Command stressed that normal movement and daily activities remain unrestricted across Ibadan and other parts of Oyo State, adding that security operations are ongoing to ensure public safety and restore confidence in affected communities.
