Nigerian music executive and businessman, Soso Soberekon, has offered Peter Okoye of the defunct music duo, P-Square, ₦500 million to face his twin brother, Paul Okoye, in a celebrity boxing match.
Soberekon made the offer during a performance on Sunday night.
A viral video circulating on social media showed Soberekon in the audience holding up his phone towards Peter, with a message displayed on the screen offering him ₦500 million to fight his twin brother.
The message on the phone read: “₦500 million to fight your twin in a boxing match.”
The offer comes amid the lingering dispute between Peter and Paul Okoye, who have been involved in a prolonged family and financial disagreement.
The disagreement escalated after Peter accused Paul and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, of allegedly diverting music royalties.
The latest development has continued to generate reactions among fans, with many questioning whether the proposed boxing match could become a reality.
