Nigerian TikTok star Peller has expressed excitement after receiving a massive welcome from fans in Ikorodu, Lagos State, as crowds gathered to celebrate his return to his hometown.
The content creator was welcomed by thousands of cheering supporters, with some holding banners bearing his pictures as he arrived alongside fellow influencers, including Smart Bm, T Dollar, Matta and others.
Reflecting on his journey to fame, Peller recalled how he admired singer Qdot while growing up in Ikorodu and dreamed of one day becoming a celebrity surrounded by bodyguards.
“This is my hood, this is Ikorodu. I remember when I was smaller and Qdot came to our hood back then, I used to always think that one day I’ll be like him, with many bodyguards. See me today, I’m a star. See my motion,” he said.
His emotional remarks highlighted how far he believes he has come, from admiring established entertainers as a child to becoming a recognised social media personality with a large following of his own.
The reception has also drawn attention to Peller’s growing popularity among young Nigerians, particularly on TikTok, where his livestreams, comedy and energetic personality have helped him build a substantial fan base.
For the influencer, the moment was more than a public appearance; it was an opportunity to reflect on his beginnings and celebrate the support he continues to receive from the community where his journey started.
