Investigators are also working to identify possible accomplices and recover additional weapons or stolen items that may be connected to their operations. The command noted that such coordinated raids form part of ongoing efforts to strengthen public safety and reduce violent crime across Delta State.

In a separate but related operation, officers reportedly recovered a large quantity of illicit drugs suspected to be part of an illegal distribution network operating within the region. Security officials said the drugs were seized during a targeted search operation based on credible intelligence, though details about the type and quantity of substances recovered were still being compiled at the time of reporting.
