“Quote Solomon Too” — Etinosa Fires Back at Men Over Infidelity Debate

Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has stirred fresh controversy online with her bold response to men who justify infidelity using biblical references.

Reacting to the ongoing conversations around cheating and morality, Etinosa challenged what she described as selective use of scripture particularly the frequent mention of King Solomon, who is often cited for having multiple wives and concubines.

According to her, those who reference Solomon should also remember the story of the Samaritan woman at the well, a woman who had multiple relationships but was still shown compassion and acceptance by Jesus Christ.

“Infidelity: As you quote King Solomon in the Bible, remember the woman at the well with six husbands. Jesus approved her,” she stated.

Her comment appears to push back against what many see as a double standard—where men justify their actions using religious narratives while holding women to stricter moral expectations.

The reference to the Samaritan woman is particularly significant. In the Bible, her encounter with Jesus is often interpreted as a moment of grace and transformation rather than condemnation, a contrast Etinosa seems to highlight in her argument.

As expected, her statement has sparked heated reactions across social media. While some users applauded her for calling out hypocrisy and promoting a more balanced interpretation of scripture, others argued that the comparison was being misinterpreted or taken out of context.

The debate has since evolved beyond religion, touching on broader issues of gender roles, accountability, and how cultural and religious narratives are used in modern relationships.

Etinosa, known for her outspoken nature, once again finds herself at the center of a conversation that blends faith, societal expectations, and the ever-controversial topic of infidelity proving that in today’s digital space, no opinion stays quiet for long.
