Ranking: Nigeria leads Africa in latest women Fifa rating

The United States of America is still topping the chart in the latest women’s ranking in the released by the world football governing body, with Nigeria leading Africa.

Fifa released the updated report on Friday, 26 August, 2016.

In the release, USA maintained their lead although having had to shed some 31 points.

Second placed Germany also dropped some points – 3 points – despite their recent Olympic outing that saw them go home with gold.

Meanwhile, France ranked third with 2046 points.

Nigeria is placed 37th, best in Africa.
