Big Brother Naija star Sheggz has opened up about his past relationship with fellow reality star Bella Okagbue, claiming that he provided her with a comfortable lifestyle during their time together.
Sheggz made the comments while addressing conversations surrounding his relationship with Bella and the speculation that followed their eventual separation.
According to the reality star, he had been financially comfortable long before his time on Big Brother Naija and was able to provide Bella with what he described as the best life during their relationship.
“I have a house in London and I have a house in Banana Island, Lagos. I’ve been balling since way back,” Sheggz said.
He went on to describe Bella as his best friend at the time, saying he took responsibility for several aspects of her lifestyle and provided her with various forms of support.
“Bella was my best friend, I gave her everything, I gave her the best life. She lived with me, I provided everything for her. I gave her cars,” he claimed.
Sheggz also suggested that the public perception surrounding their relationship might have been different if they had eventually married.
“If we had gotten married, this wouldn’t be a conversation. Because we didn’t get married, everybody is saying crazy stuff,” he said.
His comments have sparked reactions online, particularly among fans who followed his relationship with Bella during and after their time in the Big Brother Naija house.
The pair became one of the most talked-about couples during their time on the reality show, with their relationship continuing to attract public attention after leaving the programme.
