The Governor of Anambra State Chukwuma Charles Soludo has conveyed his hearty congratulations to the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Ike Oye on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
In a goodwill message issued by his spokesman, Christian Aburime, Soludo expressed happiness in joining Chief Oye’s family, friends, political associates, and the entire APGA family across the nation to celebrate a landmark milestone for a man of exceptional courage, unyielding loyalty, and remarkable leadership.
He noted that attending the special age of 70, the golden age of the septuagenarian, is a profound evidence of God’s grace, a reward for a life being spent in dedicated service to humanity, and a celebration of a living epitome of wisdom.
While reflecting on Chief Oye’s indelible legacy, Soludo extolled his leadership qualities, particularly his impactful tenure as the National Chairman of APGA.
As a shrewd administrator, Chief Oye served excellently as a pillar of stability. He successfully steered the party through turbulent political waters, entrenching discipline, unity, and a winning culture that kept the APGA wheel spinning stronger than ever.
The Governor added that as a current esteemed member of the APGA Board of Trustees (BoT), Chief Oye remains a reliable leader and a key ally in the ongoing governance and transformation of Anambra State.
“His wealth of experience continues to be an invaluable asset to this administration and the party’s progressive ideals.
“Thus, Governor Soludo warmly celebrates Chief Victor Oye on entering the prestigious club of septuagenarians, and he prays that Almighty God grants him continuous robust health, renewed vitality, greater wisdom, and many more years of greater service to APGA, Anambra State, and Nigeria”, the message reads.
