Minister of Works David Umahi has stated that President Bola Tinubu has given Ndigbo the Biafra they’ve been seeking through inclusion in national politics.
Umahi said this in his New Year message on Wednesday, while emphasising that the worst period of Nigeria’s nationhood is over through robust economic policies of the present administration, adding that the coming year shall witness a massive turnaround in all sectors.
He urged South East residents to support Tinubu’s re-election, citing his efforts to address the region’s marginalization.
“The Biafra is here,” Umahi said, emphasizing national integration and investment in the region.
He assured federal road infrastructure projects are funded and supervised, with most roads to be completed soon.
Umahi also announced a task force to enforce a ban on trucks parking on federal highways, collaborating with security agencies to improve safety.
