MAKURDI, Benue State — Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE have killed a suspected kidnapper during a targeted operation in Benue State, recovering an AK-47 rifle and other items, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and crack down on criminal elements in the region.
The military operation, which took place in the early hours of Friday, was aimed at flushing out suspected kidnappers and armed bandits operating in the state.
