Social media activist VeryDarkMan has sparked intense reactions online after recounting a disturbing fraud allegation involving a foreign businessman and Nigeria’s law enforcement environment.

According to him, a man from Nepal approached him claiming he was scammed of a staggering ₦1.6 billion in Nigeria under highly questionable circumstances.

VeryDarkMan revealed that what made the case particularly shocking was the location where the transactions and meetings allegedly took place inside a conference room at the Nigeria Police Force headquarters.

The victim reportedly said he trusted the deal because of the official setting and the presence of uniformed officers. He further alleged that during one of the meetings, a senior police officer (CSP) assured him that the individual he was dealing with was a legitimate businessman, encouraging him to proceed with the transaction.

Believing he was protected and guided by credible authorities, the foreigner said he had no reason to suspect foul play until the funds were allegedly lost.

The revelation has triggered widespread outrage and concern on social media, with many Nigerians calling for a thorough investigation into the claims and questioning how such an incident could allegedly occur within a highly secured government facility.

As of now, there has been no official statement from the police regarding the allegations. However, the story continues to fuel debates about trust, accountability, and the need for stronger institutional safeguards in Nigeria’s business and security systems.
