- British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer Igho Ubiribo, popularly known as “Tiny,” “Ego” and “Denisi,” has died at the age of 43 after undergoing a cosmetic penis-enlargement procedure in Bangkok, Thailand.
Details surrounding his death emerged following an inquest at the Inner West London Coroners’ Court, which found that the procedure contributed to a fatal pulmonary embolism.
Ubiribo was in Thailand with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, in March 2026 when he underwent the procedure at an unnamed clinic. Evidence presented during the inquest stated that approximately 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected as part of the treatment intended to increase penile girth.
According to reports of the inquest, Ubiribo later returned to his hotel with his wife and went for a massage. He subsequently complained of chest pain and reportedly lost consciousness twice.
He was taken to Sukhumvit Hospital, where medical staff were informed about the recent cosmetic procedure. Doctors suspected a pulmonary embolism and planned further examination, including a CT scan, but Ubiribo’s condition deteriorated before the scan could be carried out.
Medical personnel reportedly attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation for more than 100 minutes, but he died in the early hours of March 6, 2026.
A subsequent post-mortem examination in the United Kingdom found material in his lungs consistent with the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure. Coroner Jean Harkin concluded that Ubiribo died from a pulmonary embolism linked to the cosmetic treatment.
Ubiribo was known online for documenting an affluent lifestyle and had built a substantial social-media following. He was also associated with several prominent figures in Nigerian entertainment circles, including Afrobeats star Davido.
He married Zimbabwean fashion designer and socialite Danielle Simba Allen in 2022 in a high-profile ceremony in Zimbabwe.
Although Ubiribo died months ago, the circumstances surrounding his death have only recently attracted widespread attention following the findings presented at the London inquest.
His case has also drawn renewed attention to the potential complications associated with cosmetic filler procedures, particularly those involving injections into sensitive areas of the body.
For Ubiribo, what began as an elective cosmetic procedure during a holiday in Thailand ultimately resulted in a medical emergency that proved fatal.
