Nigerian comedian Otaghware Otas Onodjayeke, popularly known as I Go Save, has criticised the silence of first ladies across the country following the recent abduction of pupils and teachers in Oyo State.
In a series of posts shared on his Instagram page, the comedian expressed frustration over what he described as a lack of public response from influential women in leadership positions. He questioned why they had not spoken out or taken visible action regarding the incident.
“Where are all the First Ladies in this country? Are you people true mothers? How do you all sleep at night knowing these innocent kids are still in captivity and being dehumanised? Your behaviours are making the Devil look like a good man. Speak up, act and get those kids out now,” he wrote.
In another post, he added: “Nigeria Toothless Lionesses, why are y’all silent? Speak up for these innocent kids.”
His comments have since sparked mixed reactions online. While some social media users expressed understanding of his emotional outburst given the severity of the situation, others argued that not all government officials are expected to respond publicly to national tragedies.
The abduction in Oyo State has continued to generate widespread concern, with citizens, celebrities, and activists calling for urgent action to secure the release of the victims and improve security across affected regions.
