Yomi Fabiyi Shares Alleged WhatsApp Chats Linked to Mohbad’s Widow, Calls for Fresh Investigation

Nigerian actor Yomi Fabiyi has renewed calls for a fresh investigation into the death of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, as controversy surrounding the case continues to generate public debate.

Fabiyi, who has consistently demanded justice for the late singer, recently submitted a petition urging authorities to revisit key aspects of the investigation.

In a new Instagram post, the actor shared screenshots of alleged WhatsApp conversations involving Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi Aloba, and another individual. He claimed the messages contained statements suggesting concerns over certain details becoming public.

Fabiyi also shared additional alleged chats involving a person identified as Temmi, stating that the conversations raised questions that should be thoroughly investigated by law enforcement agencies.

According to him, several accounts linked to people close to Mohbad, including his brother, Adura, his driver, and close associates, point to inconsistencies that require deeper scrutiny.

The actor further referenced claims allegedly made by Mohbad’s father and other family members, insisting that all statements and reports surrounding the singer’s death should be properly examined.

Fabiyi called on the Nigerian Police to conduct a comprehensive investigation and ensure that justice is served, while maintaining that no detail should be ignored.

In his post, he reiterated his stance, alleging that multiple testimonies and circumstantial claims point to unresolved issues surrounding the circumstances of Mohbad’s passing.

The renewed comments have once again sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians divided over ongoing discussions related to the case and the need for further investigation.
