Manchester United winger, Amad Diallo, will serve a one game ban handed down by the Football Association, FA.

Amad scored a late winner for United against Liverpool in a pulsating 4-3 FA Cup quarter-final victory on Sunday and was sent off for pulling off his shirt.

The 21-year-old was shown a second yellow card for the celebration and trudged into the dressing room before the match ended.

Amad, who was introduced off the bench in the 85th minute, will now miss United’s trip to Brentford in the Premier League after the international break.

Amad later admitted that he “forgot” about the first yellow, with emotion taking over.

But he must serve the suspension, but will be hoping to be involved when Erik ten Hag’s side head to Wembley for a meeting with Coventry City in the semi-final.
